SONOHR

With huge thanks to SONOHR for commissioning a live instillation around the theme of longing, wanting and desire.

Inspired by the work of Audre Lorde, the instillation encouraged participants to get in touch with their embodied desires - as resistance - as embodied knowledge.

Over two hours I collected live interviews from people attending the festival. I wove these explorations together in a 2 hour editing block. At the end of the evening we gathered together to listen back to our combined longings - our words were strung together and set against a backdrop of original music and sound design.

It was an intimate (and rare) opportunity to listen back to each others dreams and desires.
